Gran Cenote
Cavern dive · Cenote
A cathedral-like cavern with towering columns, hanging roots and spectacular light beams cutting through the water. One of the most photogenic cenotes in Tulum.

About this site
Gran Cenote is one of the most beautiful and photogenic cenotes in Tulum. Diving here feels like entering a flooded cathedral: towering limestone columns, ancient stalactites and tree roots reach down through the water, and on a sunny day dramatic light beams cut through the crystal-clear freshwater. The shallow, open cavern zone keeps it accessible to all certified levels and makes it a wonderful introduction to cenote diving.
Marine life spotted here
