Dos Ojos
Cavern dive · Cenote
The most famous cenote in the Yucatán — a pair of connected caverns with dramatic stalactites and stalagmites, crystal-clear turquoise water and the famous Bat Cave.

About this site
Dos Ojos — “Two Eyes” — is the most famous cenote in the Yucatán and part of the vast Sac Actun cave system. Two connected sinkholes give the site its name, and certified divers explore the cavern zone in crystal-clear turquoise freshwater, drifting beneath enormous stalactites and stalagmites and through the famous Bat Cave. The water is so clear it creates the illusion of flying. Cavern dives stay within the daylight zone and are open to all certified levels.
