About this site
Desecheo is a federally protected wildlife reserve, so its rich biodiversity is never put under fishing pressure. The result is classic Caribbean spur-and-groove reef at its best: healthy corals, sponges and sea fans in every direction, with an abundance of life. It is a comfortable, rewarding dive for intermediate divers and a great introduction to what the offshore islands offer.
