Mosquito Bay
Night snorkel · Bioluminescent bay
A UNESCO World Heritage Site and the brightest bioluminescent bay in the world — light-emitting plankton turn the water a glowing blue after dark.

About this site
Mosquito Bay is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is certified as the brightest bioluminescent body of water in the world. After dark, the bay fills with light-emitting plankton that glow a brilliant electric blue whenever the water is disturbed — every stroke of a paddle or sweep of a hand leaves a trail of light. It is a night snorkel rather than a scuba dive, and an unforgettable way to end a day of diving.
